Fabia Mendoza is a Millenial from Berlin Hermannplatz, educated in Naples Sanità neighborhood.
She is the director, producer and camerawoman of the award winning Detroit documentary ‘The White House’ about the Rosa Parks House Project, 2018, 75min. and winner of the 2024 Christian Köster Förderpreis with her and Nell Pietrzyk's concept Disaster Girl (Mia Wallace/Wild Bunch Germany 2025).
She is a lecturer at the Accademia delle Belle Arti, Catania, Sicily and a published writer for Rhode Island School of Design, RI, USA. Her column Berlin Art Diary, a Berlin Sex and the City, was published by EXBERLINER Magazine and Iemme edizioni, 2020
Her photos and cinematographic material are featured by Vogue Italia, Interview Magazine, CNN Style, Vanity Fair among others.
Over the past years she collaborated on a variety of projects including ‘Another Pussy for Putin’, a solitary act for the Russian Punk Band The Pussy Riots, ‘Amerikkka’ a photographic project in collaboration with Erica Garner, the daughter of later Eric Garner, with David Lynch, Rose McGowan and American photographer Steve Schapiro. She curated contemporary art exhibits at Solito Gallery, Naples, Italy and Camera Work, Berlin.
